The Kershaw Compound Knife model 1940 has a blade design that makes it ideal for slicing. The blade is deployed by the integrated flipper with added assistance from Kershaw SpeedSafe technology. Once opened, a liner lock system is activated to keep the blade in position until the user chooses to close it. The ergonomically designed handle is glass reinforced nylon. The blade itself is constructed of strong, heat-treated 8CR10MoV steel. A carrying clip is included.
