How do you make the Kershaw Leek even cooler than it already is? We think that powder coating the pocket clip in a special glow base could do the trick. These Kershaw Leek models had their pocket clips removed and coated with statically charged glowing powder coat and baked in our oven. The end result is a pocket clip that glows in the dark. When you shut off the lights the pocket clip gives off just enough light where you can find your knife in the dark.

This is the Kershaw Leek model 1660. It's one of the most popular knives in the world. We decided to make a little modification to this knife to make it even cooler. We took the pocket clip off and powder coated it with a glow-in-the-dark powder coat. We've baked it in our oven and put it back on the knife, and let me show you what the result is. This if I can hit the lights here. And see whenever the camera adjusts, it shows the pocket clip glowing in the dark. It doesn't glow very brightly, but it is enough to allow you to locate your knife in the dark. I think it's a cool little feature.
