Kershaw Leek Knife with Candy Apple Red Handle

For a while our customers have asked if we had any Kershaw Leeks with red handles. Now we have modified the Kershaw Leek model 1660 to have a bright candy apple red handle. We start by disassembling the knife all the way down to its front and back handles. Then we place the handles on a metal tray and charge them with electricity to create a static cling. Then we puff candy apple red powder into the air around the handles and watch the static electricity pull the powder granules onto the handle until there is a nice click coating. Then we put them in an oven for a while and bake the powder coat onto the handle. The end result is this luxurious texturized bright candy apple red handle.
