The Kershaw Carabiner model 1002SLX is known as the silver Mini Biner. This smaller version of the original Carabiner Tool is made of the same high quality materials, but it weighs only 0.8 ounces. The shaving sharp 2 inch blade is made of 420J2 stainless stainless steel and has a Rockwell hardness of 52-56. When the blade is opened the body of the Mini Biner serves as a handle for the knife. And because it is a carabiner tool, it can attach to just about anything.
