Kershaw Westin Assisted Opening Knife 3460 Description:

Kershaw Westin 3460. Designed by George Les and Kershaw. The Westin has a classic look and feel. It is a slender handle with etched curves into the glass filled nylon on the front. The stone washed finished drop point blade is 3.5 inches long and made of 8Cr13Mov Steel. The front of handle has black G-10 scales to help hold your grip and the back side is a smooth stainless steel look. It locks into place with a frame lock system and opens with a flipper switch. Black pocket clip on the back, which can be changed to the front, is a deep carry. The Westin knife, a classic in the making.

Transcript: this is the Kershaw Weston model three four six zero now Kershaw and the well-known knife maker les George George have designed this they say they haven't been inspired by a character named Michael Westen who is on the USA Network's Burn Notice so this reflects the style they say it looks like Michael Westen chill so that's what this knife who his knife has been named after what's neat about it is the sleekness of the blade and the handle here the blade is made of the 8 CR 13 MOV it is a drop-point blade so that makes it really convenient cuts down on any cutting tasks you need they have the top grind which Slim's the blade covered from front to back with a stonewash finish it's gonna help to hide your everyday scratches and then as we flip the knife over you'll see that they have made it all grey on the back so that's another difference from front to back the front is gonna have these nice g10 scales for secure grip and then the back is a true just sleek urban style look to here they kind of put on a oversized pivot here and then again that's just mostly for decoration this knife is gonna open up manually you'll see it has the frame lock to hold it in you just push that down and then now you see the flipper on the backside of the handle and you just open it with one flick of the wrist there but this is can still considered open manual style pocket clip can be changed from front to back Harry the size let's see let's see that size on this blade is three and a half inches overall length is seven point eight inches weighing 3.7 ounces the handle with the g10 scale is a glass filled nylon front and then again the stonewashed steel back so nice appeal Kershaw and less George know what they're doing when they get together and make some designs this one is the Weston model three four six zero
