Product Description:

The Kershaw Offset is the 2005 winner of the coveted "Overall Knife of the Year" award by Blade Magazine for it's dynamic design, innovation, and function. Sporting the new Double Pumper design, the latest Speed Safe configuration, gives this knife easy-assisted opening by utilizing two torsion bars. Kershaw upholds its reputation for uncompromising quality with the Offset's new MIM technology and unique Ken Onion design.

Metal Injection Molding (MIM) is the latest technology in blade craftsmanship, and when utilized with hot isostatic pressing the result is the Offset's exceptional 440C stainless steel blade. This technique begins with a blade mold which is filled with a combination of powdered metal and binder. The blade is then sintered to remove the binder and reduce the blade's size by 20%, leaving it at a 94% density. Then the blade is HIPed under extreme pressure to finish it off at a 99.7% density. In the Offset, this process delivers a blade with superior cutting power.

Beauty and strength are seamlessly integrated in this exceptional piece of craftsmanship. The handle is made of a durable anodized 3D milled aluminum and sports a unique eye-catching splattered design. This attention to detail is also present on the often over looked pocket clip, which is delicately engraved. This is a high quality knife with a lot of style that is sure to be noticed.
