We bumped into a customer after eight years and were delighted to see that he was still carrying the knife he got from us. This old knife, an 8-year old Kershaw Blur model 1670BLKST, was still being carried in his pocket as an every day carry. Check out the knife in the picture and the video. It is obvious that this knife has been in his pocket and used heavily for every single day.

After a snapping a picture of this old knife I decided to take a quick video of it. While the knife is heavily used it is obvious that it has been taken good care of by its owner.

While opererating this knife I was shocked at how smooth the operation was after all these years. It still locked up tight, the hinge was nice and snug, and the grips were still firmly in place. I will even venture to say that the knife was operating better at 8 years old than the first day it came out of the box! When this customer bought this knife 8 years ago he was doing some security work for us. At the end of the day he wanted to be paid in Kershaw knives instead of cash!
